Approval at Committee for our Tadcaster Road bespoke family home
Vincent & Partner's new proposals for a contemporary family home nestled in a secluded setting off the prestigious Tadcaster Road is approved by councillors at planning committee today. A great result for our client and our Architect Rachel, whose innovative design overcame size & massing concerns as well as meeting the clients brief for flexible living that enhances the everyday luxury and wellbeing of the occupants.
Despite originally gaining outline approval for a single dwelling in 2019, and the updated scheme being recommended for approval at planning officer level, it was called into committee due to a lack of precedence for 2 storey properties in the area. The design however utilises roof spaces and sub ground levels to offer a split level interior which ultimately alleviated the initial concerns and resulted in a unanimous approval.
Work will now commence on the construction package with the hope to commence the build later this year. Watch this space!
