Beverley House Approved at Committee
We are delighted to announce that the scheme for Beverley House, Shipton Road, York has been approved by local councillors at the planning committee this evening.
Vincent & Brown, along with planning consultants Gallagher Planning submitted an application for planning consent for the residential re-development and refurbishment of Beverley House which was purchased from the Joseph Rowntree Foundation. The scheme was recommended for approval by the planning officers and we were delighted that local councillors almost unanimously agreed with their recommendation.
After years of sitting vacant the scheme will now deliver 20 new homes as part of a senior living initiative, filling a widening gap in demand within the housing market for this type of development.
Vincent & Brown will now progress the construction drawings & tender package, watch this space for updates!
