Blossom St New York Club receives planning approval
Blossom St New York Club receives Full Planning and Listed Building Consent
Our proposals for the redevelopment of the former New York Working Men's Club yesterday received full planning and listed building consent. The project will see this grand Georgian property on Blossom St brought back into its original use and converted into high-quality apartments.
The building is currently in a dilapidated state and the scheme proposes to rejuvenate it by reinstating the original layout as far possible, bringing back the original open carriageway through the centre of the building and restoring original features both inside and out.
A new residential block will also be introduced at the rear of the site that matches the position and size of a historic warehouse and stables that existed, with shared amenity space accessed from the carriageway. We look forward to working further on the scheme and the opportunity to turn this impressive heritage asset back into residential use.
