V&B Technologist Kaarin Collins gains her long awaited UK citizenship and we are delighted for her!
If you've ever had the pleasure to work with Kaarin you will have noticed a slight American twang to her accent but Kaarin can officially say now that she is an All British Girl!
Kaarin moved to the UK 6 years ago and has been working towards citizenship ever since. Besides the countless application forms & interviews, the questionable UK quizzes kept us all amused. We're very confident that Kaarin knows more about the UK than us natives!
Today Kaarin attended her ceremony where she met the Lord Mayor of York to officially welcome her as a citizen. Congratulations Kaarin, your team are delighted for you.
