Oak Farm Complete!

Oak Farm in Dunnington was acquired by our clients in 2019 and comprised of redundant agricultural buildings that have now been extended and transformed into a stunning family home.

The sympathetic design ensured that as many original & quirky features as possible were retained with help from York Architectural Trust. Including tadpole shaped charring marks on timber trusses, which are regarded as ritual protection marks to ward off malignant or accidental fires. Below are images of the finished home, which I'm sure you'll agree is impressive both inside & out. The work was carried out by local firm York Builder who have done an excellent job.
