Planning Approval Granted for 4 New Family Homes
Our client came to us to help secure approval for the repurpose of a group of unsightly vacant commercial units off Moor Lane, Bishopthorpe in York.
Just this week we are pleased to announce that with assistance from planning consultants, O'Neill Associates we have secured planning consent for 4 new-build, high quality dwellings ranging in size, including two bungalows.
The re-development of the site, which sits within the green belt, will not only provide highly sustainable family homes but will increase the biodiversity of the site and significantly reduce the amount of hard standing currently in situ.
The dwellings will have a rural aesthetic, drawing influence from nearby agricultural buildings and will be constructed using sustainable construction techniques and clad in locally sourced materials. The eaves and ridge heights of the proposed houses have been considered to ensure that the new dwellings will not have a greater impact on the openness of green belt than the existing commercials units.
