Speed Dating at Leeds Beckett
This month saw Vincent & Brown welcome a new member to the team. Jack Arnold, a third-year architecture student at Leeds Beckett University, joined the team as part of a speed dating work placement event held by the university.
The event, which sought to give students real world experience, saw practices from around Yorkshire give a ‘sales pitch’ to the students, followed by informal one to one discussion between practitioners and students. Jack spent a week in the studio working on an exciting waterfront feasibility scheme with the team, in which he brought some valuable insights and ideas to the table. Jack also presented his current university work, which explored the formation of a local community self-sustaining brewery. From everyone at Vincent & Brown, we would like to thank Jack for joining us and wish him and his fellow students good luck in their final semester.
