V&B on Tour!
York RUFC Junior teams recently took part in the highly successful annual Minis festival, including teams from all over Yorkshire.
Vincent & Brown were proud sponsors of the tour, which is designed to provide young budding rugby players with a weekend of outdoor activities and team bonding, followed by a rugby tournament against both local and other touring teams.
The weekend starting off on Saturday at Dearne Valley near Doncaster, a fantastic state of the art activity centre designed by Feilden Clegg Bradley Architects, which focuses on a series of environmental design principles, integrating a low energy building with a highly visible solar generator.
After an afternoon of climbing walls, zip wires and archery, and a late night burning off any energy the kids had left, the teams went onto to compete in the festival on Sunday.
York did fantastically well throughout each of the age groups and well and we look forward to getting involved again next year!
