New Showroom - Shipton By Beningbrough
Family owned and run, York Van Centre, situated on Station Lane, Shipton By Beningbrough recognized that the land over the road from their current site had the potential to expand the business and develop a new showroom with space to display vehicles and fit with brand guidelines.
Our clients approached us to design the layouts and achieve planning consent for their ideas.
The layout for the showroom was designed to create a new sales building that incorporates display areas and offices while meeting brand guidelines. The building is arranged for the display areas to face Station Lane and the customer car park, utilising the visibility of the site. To minimise noise from the adjacent railway line, offices have internal windows into the double height display area and roof-lights at first floor instead of external windows. Sales offices are located on ground floor with access to the display area. A mezzanine level provides space for staff facilities and a boardroom.
Our team secured full planning consent in March 2023 shortly followed by a full set of building regulation drawings. Construction is expected to commence late 2023. Watch this space for more updates.
