The extension and refurbishment of 2-bedroom, red-brick town house on a residential street in Heworth, York.
In close collaboration with clients Inglehurst Property, Vincent & Partners put forward proposals to transform the 2-bedroom semi-detached house into a more spacious family home fit for the demands of modern life.
Upstairs, the master bedroom was upgraded with en-suite facilities, luxuriously finished with a white porcelain suite, marble tiles and stainless steel fixtures and fittings. The house bathroom was refurbished with a new white suite and monochrome metro tiles. With space at a premium, an attic conversion delivered 2 additional second floor bedrooms with dormer windows overlooking the rear gardens.
The property is fitted with a contemporary new open-plan kitchen with high gloss units and a feature island unit. A woodburning stove brings character to the living room and bi-fold doors open out to the rear gardens. Parquet flooring and a muted colour palette complete the finish.
Externally, landscaping to the front delivers kerb-appeal in addition to off-road parking for 2 cars.
The Vincent & Partners team oversaw the project from RIBA stages 1 - 6 - coordinating all external consultants and contractors to deliver the final product for open market sales.
